Winslet Should Finally Win An Oscar

Meryl Streep To Win Third Oscar?
Verteran actress Meryl Streep is the second favourite to win Best Actress and most likely to cash in if Winslet is once again snubbed by the Academy. Meryl Streep has been nominated for her role in Doubt, where she plays a nun who confronts a priest about abuse she suspects to a black student. Anne Hathaway No Longer The Favourite
The other actress in with a real chance is Anne Hathaway who is the third favourite at 6/1 with Bet365. Hathaway has been nominated for her performance in Rachel Getting Married and she had been favourite to win the Oscars Best Actress until she was beaten to the Best Actress at the Golden Globes, by Winslet.
The Two Outsiders
The other two actresses up for the award are Angelina Jolie and Melissa Leo. Angelina Jolie was nominated for Clint Eastwood directed Changeling and she is 22/1 with Stan James whilst Melissa Leo, nominated for the less high profile Frozen River, is 40/1 with Paddy Power and Coral.
