Next Brighton Manager Odds Point To Paul Ince
Monday 23 February 2009 at 12:16
Paul Ince is the current favourite to become the Next Brighton Manager after Mickey Adams was relieved of his duties on Saturday morning.
Paul Ince Is The Hot Favourite
Paul Ince was immediately installed as favourite to make a return to management to rebuild his reputation. He is the 2/1 favourite with VC Bet to land the job. It seems inevitable that Ince will have to return to management at a lower level than the Premiership having been deemed a failure at Blackburn and this could be a good opportunity.
Jim Gannon Sure To Be On Shortlist
VC Bet have been forced to slash their odds twice on Jim Gannon landing the job. VC initially made him 17/2 and then quickly went 8/1 before shortening him further into 11/2. It seems the Stockport boss is being strongly considered for the position.
Boothroyd Looking A Decent Bet
Other names that a prominent in the betting include Steve Cotterill, Dean White and Aidy Boothroyd. Cotterill is a very capable manager at this level sure to get the best out of the players and he can be backed at 7/1 with VC Bet. Dean White is currently in charge at Brighton with Bob Brooker and White is 15/2 with VC Bet whilst Boothroyd, a very talented young manager could be the best bet at this stage at 8/1 with VC Bet.
