The Quarter Finals of the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield get under way today with the betting now looking wide open after the defeat of hot favourite Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Former Champ Higgins Has The Experience
John Higgins showed all his trademark battling qualities to come through in an epic match against Jamie Cope where he was on the brink of defeat at 12-10 down. Higgins is now the 4/1 joint favourite to win his third World Title with Stan James and Coral (he was World Champion in 1998 and 2007).
Selby Vying For Favouritism
Mark Selby saw off 2006 Champion Graeme Dott 13-10 in Round Two and takes on Higgins in the quarter finals in what promises to be an exciting match.
Selby, world ranked number four, is also a 4/1 to lift the title, with Paddy Power and Boylesports.
The Selby/Higgins match starts today at 2.30 and the bookmakers have the match very evenly matched with Selby at Evs with Sportingbet and Higgins at Evs with Coral.
All Quality In The Quarter Finals
