Eurovision Odds 2009
Friday 15 May 2009 at 19:49
Eurovision Odds 2009 are currently headed by Norway but there has been an almighty gamble on the UK and they could start the competition as second favourites such is the strength of support.
Norway Strong Favourites
Norway are the long time market leaders and can be backed at 11/10 with Totesport and Blue Square despite most bookie offering an odds on price. Norway are represented by Alexander Rybak and judging by the semi finals during the week the odds are correct, whoever you back in Eurovision 2009, you should have a saver on Norway.
UK Gamble Continues
There has been a massive gamble on the UK over the past week and a victory for Jade Ewen would cost the bookmaking industry millions of pounds. Having been as big as 40/1 with some bookies, the UK can now be backed at a best price of 12/1 with Bet365, Stan James, Coral and Ladbrokes. The song ‘My Time' is expected to perform much better than recent efforts but if you expect the UK to flop you can back ‘nul points' at 66/1 with William Hill.
Other Nations Expected To Do Well
Other nations who are expected to do well at Eurovision 2009 include Greece who are the second favourites at 6/1 with Totesport and Blue Square, and Turkey, who have just been ousted as third favourites by the UK, Turkey are 12/1with Stan James.
