Eurovision Betting 2009
Saturday 16 May 2009 at 16:00
Eurovision Betting 2009 has been extremely popular over the past couple of weeks and there have been many changes in the odds offered by the bookmakers. One thing that doesn't change though is the favourites to win the competition.
Norway Proving Extremely Popular
Norway are the hot favourites to win Eurovision 2009 and can be backed to do so at 11/10 with Blue Square and Totesport. Norway are going to be represented by Alexander Rybak and the singer/songwriter/violinist looked a strong contender in the semi final this week and is sure to do well on Saturday night.
Andrew Lloyd Webber Gets Involved In UK Entry
The UK have been the major gamble of the week and are now 12/1 with Bet365, Stan James, Coral and Ladbrokes, having one time been 40/1 shots. A lot of effort has been put into the UK entry this year with Andrew Lloyd Webber writing the song and Jade Ewen, who will sing the song, is going to be tough to beat.
Other Countries Of Interest
Other countries that have been well touted include Greece at 6/1 with Totesport and Blue Square, Turkey who are 12/1 with Stan James and Bosnia and Herzegovina who are 18/1 with Stan James. To view all of the Eurovision Odds click on any of the bookie links above.
