Britains Got Talent Betting Odds Change As Susan Boyle And Diversity Reach Final
Monday 25 May 2009 at 12:06
Britains Got Talent Betting Odds were last night shortened for Susan Boyle and Diversity as they became the first acts to reach the Britains Got Talent Final.
Susan Boyle Odds On Again
Susan Boyle was around 11/8 to win Britains Got Talent before yesterday's final but now that she has her place in the final after winning the phone vote she is back to being the odds on favourite. She is as short as 4/7 with SkyBet but Stan James appear to be taking a risk by offering a stand out price of 10/11. That is a great price and she should be backed to win at 10/11 with Stan James.
Diversity Edge Out Natalie Okri
Diversity also made it through to the final after the judges chose the dance group over ten year old singer Natalie Okri, who appeared not as good as in the auditions. As a result of reaching the final Diversity halved in price and can now be backed at 10/1 with Boylesports and Paddy Power, although they are as short as 6/1 with Blue Square who are taking no chances.
Aidan Davis Compared To Last Year's Winner
There are several other acts in with a big chance at this stage, the best opposition to Susan Boyle appears to be young dancer Aidan Davis. Davis is 13/2 with Bet365 to win Britains Got Talent and he was immediately compared to last year's winner George Sampson by the judges which speaks well about his chances. It will be interesting to see his semi final performance this week.
Shaheen Jafargholi Still Third Favourite As Jamie Pugh Drifts
Shaheen Jafargholi is another act who the bookies still strongly fancy, he is 9/1 third favourite with Bet365 and Paddy Power whilst former second favourite Jamie Pugh is on the drift, he is now 14/1 with Bet365.
