Next QPR Manager Set To Be Announced As Jim Magilton According To Betting Odds
Monday 01 June 2009 at 16:34
Former Ipswich Town Manager Jim Magilton is set to be unveiled as the Next QPR Manager according to the odds offered by SkyBet.
Jim Magilton Close To Signing It Seems
SkyBet are offering odds of just 3/10 that Magilton is appointed the Next QPR Manager and that means that talks are likely to be at an advanced stage for such short odds to be offered. Magilton was sacked in April and replaced by Roy Keane but it seemed he hadn't done such a bad job at Ipswich so he could be a decent appointment.
Kevin Blackwell And Alan Pardew Still Have A Chance
Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell was thought to be close to leaving his job after their Playoff Cup Final defeat at the hands of Burnley and he is the joint second favourite to land the job at 8/1 with SkyBet. Also on 8/1 with SkyBet is out of work Alan Pardew, who has been redundant since leaving Charlton this season.
All Other Managers Double Figure Odds
All other managers in the Next QPR Manager betting are very long odds, the only other contender under 33/1 is Antonio Tapia and he is 20/1 with SkyBet. To find out the odds on big names such as Paul Ince, Gianluca Vialli and Terry Venables visit the SkyBet website.
