Next Celtic Manager Betting Odds Suggest Tony Mowbray Is The One
Thursday 04 June 2009 at 12:41
The Next Celtic Manager Betting Odds are giving a strong indication that West Brom manager Tony Mowbray is very much back in the fold to succeed Gordon Strachan.
Mowbray Back In Favour For Celtic
A week ago it seemed that Tony Mowbray's chance had gone, he drifted from odds on to around 5/1 with some bookies. It now looks as though Celtic must be thrashing out a compensation package with West Brom because Mowbray is back into a best price of 4/6 with Paddy Power and William Hill.
Owen Coyle Looks Back Up Choice
Owen Coyle has always been close to favourite to land the job and that is no surprise given the job he has done at Burnley and his knowledge of the Scottish Premier League. He can currently be backed at 7/2 with Blue Square and SkyBet and but he is as short as 2/1 elsewhere. If things don't work out with Mowbray then it looks as though Celtic will turn to Coyle.
Martinez Future Is Elsewhere
Roberto Martinez did become favourite for this job a few days ago but his future lies at Wigan, he is long odds on in the Next Wigan Manager Betting Odds. For the Celtic job he is now out to 7/1 with Boylesports and SkyBet.
Roy Keane Amongst Big Names That Could Move To Celtic
There are plenty of other big names still being linked with the job. To find out the odds on Slaven Bilic, Roy Keane, Tony Adams or Neil Lennon and to see who else is being linked, and their odds, click on any of the bookie links above.
