Royal Ascot Tips 2009 For Day One And Day Two

 Royal Ascot 2009 gets underway this afternoon and other the five days there are some great Royal Ascot Tips.
Queen Anne On Tuesday
Gladiatorus is the main attraction for this race and it is highly likely that the 5/2 favourite with Stan James, Paddy Power and Ladbrokes could be a class above his rivals. One at a much bigger price who is interesting is Dream Eater who can be backed at 40/1 with Ladbrokes. He has three good runs at Ascot under his belt, these conditions will be ideal and he has close form with several horses who are much shorter in the betting.
St James Palace On Tuesday
Mastercraftsman is the odds on favourite at 10/11 with Sportingbet after his easy win in the Irish 2000 Guineas but under these conditions at Newmarket in the English 2000 Guineas he was three lengths behind Delegator and it is Delegator who is the recommended bet at 9/2 with Stan James, Paddy Power and Totesport.
Prince Of Wales On Wednesday
Tartan Bearer is the strong favourite for this race at 2/1 with Coral. He is unbeaten at this distance but it probably better over a mile and a half and ordinarily you would probably want to take him on in this race but there isn't really much in the field that can beat him. Twice Over is interesting at 8/1 with Totesport and Ladbrokes and he could well chase the favourite home but take Tartan Bearer to land his first group one at 2/1 with Coral.
Royal Hunt Cup On Wednesday
This one mile cavalry charge is often one of the best betting heats of the meeting. Forgotten Voice is the warm favourite having won all three of his career starts. He is probably much better than his handicap rating but 9/2 with Bet365 is short enough having never run on turf. Docofthebay loves this sort of race and finished second in the Royal Hunt Cup last season off a 6lb higher mark. The 16/1 with Ladbrokes looks far too big and he is rated the bet.
