Next West Bromwich Albion Manager Betting Odds Has Four Joint Favourites With SkyBet
Monday 22 June 2009 at 10:55
SkyBet are unable to separate four managers in the Next West Brom Manager odds as the picture becomes fuzzier rather than clearer as the weeks pass by.
Four Managers Can't Be Separated
The four managers who SkyBet have as joint favourites are Derek McInnes, Alan Irvine, Aidy Boothroyd and Darren Ferguson. All of them can be backed at 11/4 with SkyBet. It is interesting that Bet365 also have a Next West Brom Manager market so how do the SkyBet prices compare to those at Bet365?
McInnes Is The Favourite
Derek McInnes is the 2/1 favourite with Bet365 so if you are backing the current St Johnstone manager to land the job then bets are best placed at the 11/4 with SkyBet. Both bookies have McInnes as either their favourite or joint favourite so it is clear he is the front runner at this stage.
Bookies Disagree Over Favourites
The second favourite with Bet365 is Preston Manager Alan Irvine and he is 9/4 with Bet365 so again, bets are best placed at the 11/4 with SkyBet if you fancy Irvine. Aidy Boothroyd, who it is worth bearing in mind is available for work and based in the Midlands, is a better price at Bet365, he is 4/1 with them and that looks well worth a bet. Darren Ferguson is the manager the bookies disagree most over, the 11/4 joint favourite at SkyBet is an 8/1 chance with Bet365! With such a price difference it seems inevitable that Bet365 will end up shortening Ferguson's odds so he could be worth an early bet.
More Big Names Linked
There are plenty of other managers linked with the job, to find out the odds on the likes of Alan Curbishley, Steve Coppell, Paul Ince or Alan Shearer and to see who else could become the Next West Brom Manager, visit either the Bet365 or SkyBet websites.
