Thursday 30 July 2009 at 10:34
Michael Schumacher is set to make a sensational return to F1 and the bookies have already reacted by pricing up how he will fare this season.
Schumacher 100/1 To Win Another Drivers Championship
Schumacher will stand in for as long as Felipe Massa is sidelined for after his crash in qualifying last week but having already missed much of the season, he is not fancied by the bookies to win another F1 Drivers Championship. Michael Schumacher can be backed at 100/1 with Sportingbet, well behind the current favourite, Jenson Button, who is 10/11 with Bet365, Paddy Power, Stan James and Ladbrokes. Lewis Hamilton, who won his first Grand Prix of the season last week, is down to 40/1 with Bet365 to win the F1 Drivers Championship.
Schumacher Returning In European GP
Michael Schumacher's first race will be the European Grand Prix and SkyBet are offering just 4/11 that Schumacher finishes in the points in that race. SkyBet offer 3/1 that he finishes on the podium in the European Grand Prix, he is 9/1 to have the fastest lap in the European Grand Prix with SkyBet and 14/1 to win the European Grand Prix with SkyBet.
Will Schumacher Win This Season?
Paddy Power are taking a longer term view to Schumacher's success, Paddy Power offer 3/1 that Schumacher starts on pole for any race this season and 3/1 that he wins any race this season.
