Rip Van Winkle could follow in the footsteps of Ravens Pass, who last year won the QEII before taking the Breeders Cup Classic, but that would probably mean clashing with Sea The Stars once again. Rip Van Winkle is now 3/1 with Boylesports, SkyBet and Blue Square, behind Sea The Stars who is 5/2 for the race with Stan James and Coral. Bet365 make the pair 9/4 joint favourites.
Rip Van Winkle Might Duck Sea The Stars Clash
Should Sea The Stars turn up for the Breeders Cup Classic Rip Van Winkle could take the easier option of the Breeders Cup Mile, over the trip he has scored twice at this year. William Hill make Rip Van Winkle a 4/1 shot for that race but it is more likely his stable mate Mastercraftsman will take in that race, he is 6/1 with Coral and William Hill.
