Jedward Could Represent UK At Eurovision 2010 According To Latest Odds
Wednesday 03 February 2010 at 10:44
Jedward are possibly being lined up to represent the UK at Eurovision according to the latest Eurovision Odds from William Hill. At the very least they could be involved in the selection process that decides who represents the UK.
Nil Points More Likely Than UK Victory
William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams had this to say about Jedward's possible participation at Eurovision 2010:
"The rumours are that the BBC are in negotiations with Jedward to get them to take part in the programme that decides the UK entrant. We thought this would put off punters but amazingly we have taken a whole load of bets on the UK winning. That said we are still a shorter price for the UK to get nil point than we are for the UK to win it,"
Jedward Rumours Lead To Gamble On The UK Winning
Jedward are currently just 3/1 with William Hill to have a number one single this Sunday and their possible participation at Eurovision 2010 has lead to a gamble on the UK to win Eurovision. William Hill were forced to cut the odds from 33/1 to 25/1 on a UK victory at Eurovision. It was revealed last week that the UK Eurovision entry this year will be written and produced by Pete Waterman and if you think that could be a negative then you could take the 16/1 with William Hill that the UK score the dreaded ‘nil points'.
