Tuesday 09 February 2010 at 10:51
Six Nations Betting Odds still make France the favourites for victory but after England defeated Wales at the weekend their own Six Nations 2010 Betting Odds are starting to look very generous.
France Rated Ahead Of Good Bets England By The Bookies
France remain the ones to beat at the Six Nations and they can currently be backed at 5/4 with SkyBet, Coral and Ladbrokes to go all the way for the first time since 2007, when they retained the Six Nations Championship. England are now rated at 3/1 with William Hill and shorter elsewhere having beaten Wales at the weekend and those odds look pretty generous. England are also still in with a chance of winning the Grand Slam, they can be backed at 7/1 with Paddy Power and Boylesports to do so and that also looks worth a bet, favourites France could also still win the Grand Slam and they are 3/1 with SkyBet for the Grand Slam.
Ireland The Second Favourites To Retain Their Title
Ireland, like France, are rated ahead of England in the Six Nations Betting Odds, they can currently be backed at 5/2 with Bet365, who offer up to £200 in free bets to new customers, to retain the Six Nations Championship. They won it last year with a Grand Slam and are 11/2 with Bet365 to complete the same feat. Wales may have lost their first game but they still have an outside chance in the Six Nations according to the bookies, they are 16/1 with Blue Square, well ahead of Scotland who are 100/1 with Stan James and Italy who are 1000/1 with Totesport.
