FA Cup 2010 Betting Odds Have Chelsea As Favourites Followed By Aston Villa And Spurs
Thursday 25 February 2010 at 11:33
FA Cup Betting Odds make Chelsea the hot favourites after they received arguably an easier Quarter Final tie against Stoke who knocked Man City out in a FA Cup replay on Wednesday night.
Chelsea Expected To Win The Cup For Second Year Running
Chelsea are now just 11/10 to win the FA Cup with Bet365, who offer up to £200 in free bets to new customers. That looks a pretty generous price on Chelsea considering they are not only the only ‘Big Four' side left in the competition, but also because they have a home tie against Stoke in the quarter final. Stoke are much better at home than away and they are 25/1 with Coral to win the FA Cup. Aston Villa may have an away tie in the next round but because that is against Championship opposition they are the second favourites for the FA Cup at 4/1 with Bet365, Paddy Power and SkyBet. Villa are away to Reading who are rated at 50/1 outsiders with Coral.
Spurs Looking For Yet Another Trip To Wembley
Spurs have a strong FA Cup tradition and have also been to Wembley twice in the last two years for Carling Cup finals. They have a fairly tough game away to Fulham in the quarter final and Spurs are now 5/1 with Ladbrokes and Coral to win the FA Cup, Fulham are 14/1 with Ladbrokes. Two more Premiership sides are still left in the competition, Birmingham have to go to Portsmouth for the last of the Quarter Final ties and Birmingham are rated at 12/1 with Bet365 whilst Portsmouth are 20/1 with Bet365.
