Your Country Needs You 2010 Betting Odds Make Josh Dubovie And Karen Harding Favourites To Go To Eurovision
Monday 08 March 2010 at 11:13
Your Country Needs You 2010 Betting Odds have Josh Dubovie and Karen Harding as the best of the Your Country Needs You 2010 Contestants. Once again there are six Your Country Needs You hopefuls in the line up and the bookie odds suggest none of them are no hopers at this early stage.
Three Solo Performers Make Up The Favourites
Josh Dubovie has established himself as the early favourite to win Your Country Needs You 2010 and earn himself a place as the UK's entrant at Eurovision 2010. The 19 year old can currently be backed at 2/1 with Bet365, who offer up to £200 in free bets to new customers. Josh Dubovie does face tough competition though, just behind him in the betting is Karen Harding, the 18 year old is currently available at 3/1 with Boylesports. The third favourite is currently Alexis Gerrard and he can be backed at 9/2 with Bet365 and Paddy Power.
Miss Fitz Look The Best Of The Groups Despite The Odds
There are two groups in this year's Your Country Needs You, the best of which are believed to be UNI5 who can be backed at 6/1 with Boylesports and have already been well backed to win, they were available at 8/1 originally. The best bet however could be Miss Fitz who are a stand out 10/1 with Stan James, if that price goes the next best odds are 8/1 with Boylesports. Miss Fitz were given the thumbs up by Simon Cowell during last year's X Factor but their lead singer could not make the boot camp stage and they were eliminated. Back to full strength they look a great bet as a talented trio, they are preferred to outsider Esma Akkilic who is 10/1 with Bet365.
Bookies Not Impressed By This Year's Crop
William Hill were not too impressed by this year's line up, spokesman Rupert Adams had this to say:
"The finalists do not look too inspiring and the UK have just made a hard job look impossible."
As a result William Hill pushed out the odds on a UK victory at Eurovision to 33/1 from 25/1. The current favourites are Norway who can be backed at 4/1 with Boylesports, for a full list of Eurovision odds visit the Boylesports website.
