Iain Dowie Odds On To Become Next Hull Manager
Tuesday 16 March 2010 at 15:16
Next Hull Manager Betting Odds now have Iain Dowie as the hot favourite and some bookies go odds on that the former Crystal Palace boss gets the Hull job on a full time basis. Gary Megson was the favourite on Monday and he remains prominent in the Next Hull Manager Odds.
Iain Dowie Odds On With Some Bookies
Iain Dowie was a 25/1 shot with SkyBet on Monday morning when news broke that Phil Brown had been relived of his duties and since then he has been backed all the way down to the current price of 5/2 with SkyBet. That is still a stand out price with Paddy Power offering just 1/2 and William Hill going just 4/7, clearly they think Dowie is a sure thing. If he isn't a sure thing then second favourite Gary Megson could be, he is clear of the other contenders and is rated at 8/1 with SkyBet but is as short as 3/1 with VC Bet proving again that SkyBet are offering a generous price.
Quick Appointment Means One Of The Favourites Should Get The Job
With a quick appointment expected from Hull there is a big chance that one of the outsiders will get the job so if it isn't one of the two favourites it will be one of the other managers who are prominent in the betting. They include Paul Jewell at 10/1 with William Hill, Brian Horton who is also 10/1 with William Hill, Gareth Southgate is 12/1 with Totesport and Mark Hughes, who is rumoured to have already turned the job down is 14/1 with VC Bet.
