Wednesday 17 March 2010 at 10:50
Azerbaijan have been well backed in the Eurovision 2010 Odds and now find themselves second favourites behind last year's winners Norway.
Azerbaijan Now pushing Norway For Favouritism
Azerbaijan were initially 14/1 chances in the Eurovision 2010 Betting Odds but they have been supported constantly over the past two weeks and now find themselves second favourites to win Eurovision 2010. they can be backed at 8/1 with Boylesports and William Hill. If things continue they could be favourites by next week, ahead of the hosts and last year's winners Norway. The Norwegians can currently be backed at 7/1 with William Hill and Boylesports which makes them most likely winners at the moment, but only just.
No Chance For UK Say The Bookies Whilst Ireland Drift Too
It has now been decided that Josh Dubovie will be representing the UK at Eurovision 2010 and the UK are hardly well fancied this year, they can be backed at 50/1 with Boylesports. More worryingly for the UK and Josh Dubovie, the UK are just 16/1 with William Hill to score the dreaded ‘nil points'. Ireland stand a decent chance though, they are rated at 25/1 with Boylesports and William Hill, having once been amongst the favourites. Currently amongst the favourites are Armenia at 12/1 with William Hill, Denmark at 12/1 with Boylesports and Greece at 14/1 with William Hill.
