Saturday 17 April 2010 at 10:00
Scottish Grand National 2010 Runners include the Scottish Grand National 2010 favourites Poker De Sivola and Meanus Dandy, who were both declared on Thursday. These two look pretty solid Grand National 2010 Tips and could both be worth backing.
Either Poker De Sivola Or Meanus Dandy Should Go Off Favourite
Poker De Sivola, who is a winner at the Cheltenham Festival over a four mile marathon trip (same test here), had been the Scottish Grand National 2010 Betting Odds favourite for most of this week and became the clear favourite when ante post joint favourite Chief Dan George was declared a non runner during the week. Poker De Sivola is just edging favouritism at the moment and can be backed at 15/2 with Bet365 and Paddy Power at the moment. Just behind Poker De Sivola in the second favourite's place is Meanus Dandy, who has not yet faced this sort of stamina test but it looks as though it will suit, Meanus Dandy can be backed at 8/1 with Ladbrokes.
Man Market Moves Taking Place In The Scottish National 2010
One horse who has been nicely supported over the past 24 hours is Merigo, nearly all the bookies have shortened up his price but you can still get the 20/1 with Coral. Auroras Encore is another who has been well backed and is now a best price of 25/1 with SkyBet whilst Montero is also getting well backed and is currently 25/1 with Paddy Power and Stan James. Gone To Lunch looks sure to be popular today, as he has been all week, he was second in the race last year and is 11/1 with SkyBet and Paddy Power to go one better this year.
