UK General Election Betting Odds Make Conservatives Almost Certain Winners Ahead Of Third General Election 2010 Debate
Thursday 29 April 2010 at 10:35
The Conservatives have the UK General Election 2010 to lose according to the latest UK General Election 2010 Betting Odds and with the Third General Election Debate taking place tonight it would take a horrible performance from current Debate Odds favourite David Cameron to ruin the Conservatives' election chances.
Conservative Victory Looking More And More Certain
The Conservatives have shortened in the last few days for the UK General Election 2010 and they can currently be backed at a best price of just 1/5 with Boylesports. That shows just how certain they are to win the UK General Election and it could take a monumental gaffe from David Cameron in tonight's final debate to mess up their chances. Talking on monumental gaffes, the odds on a Labour victory have been on the drift since Gordon Brown insulted one of his own supporters this week and Labour are now as big as 5/1 with Bet365, SkyBet and Paddy Power. The Lib Dems are 18/1 shots with Stan James making them look no hopers but before the first debate they were 200/1 chances so to be fair Nick Clegg has worked wonders so far, another strong performance tonight could put them right in the reckoning.
David Cameron And Nick Clegg Dominate Final Debate Betting Odds
The favourite to win tonight's BBC General Election Debate is Conservative leader David Cameron, he is just 6/4 with Coral and as short as evens with Paddy Power and Bet365. Bookies have been shortening his odds this week and they have also shortened the odds on Nick Clegg winning the Final Debate. He is now 7/4 with Boylesports and Ladbrokes to add to his victory in the first debate, Coral and William Hill both make the pair joint favourites at the moment. Labour leader Gordon Brown has seemingly wrecked his chances this week by calling one of the Labour supporters a bigot, his odds of winning the Final Debate have since drifted and he is now as big as 4/1 with Bet365 and Paddy Power.
