Friday 28 May 2010 at 18:00
Eurovision Song Contest 2010 Betting Odds still have Azerbaijan as favourites but there could be plenty of countries who threaten that position as many previously considered outsiders have been very well backed in the last few days.
Azerbaijan And Germany Still The Two To Beat According To Odds
Azerbaijan remain the favourites in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 Betting Odds with Germany not far behind them but there have been plenty of bets for relative outsiders this week in the build up to the Eurovision 2010 Final. Azerbaijan have been the favourites and the country to beat for some time now and are currently 5/2 with Bet365 and Ladbrokes whilst Germany could soon be disputing favouritism again are now 10/3 with Blue Square and SkyBet. One of the biggest gambles in the past week has been on Armenia, who were 20/1 and are now third favourites at 15/2 with Blue Square.
Greece And Iceland Amongst Very Well Backed Nations
Two countries that could still win challenge for favouritism and win include Greece and Iceland. Both had been considered outsiders until a couple of days but then the money on both started to pour in and their odds were cut significantly, Greece are now 28/1 with Boylesports whilst Iceland can be backed at 33/1 still with Paddy Power and Stan James but that price is unlikely to last long. Other gambles include Turkey who are down to 14/1 with Boylesports and also Georgia who are still 40/1 with Skybet but as short as 20/1 elsewhere.
