Royal Ascot 2010 Tips And Betting Odds Make Goldikova And Canford Cliffs Look Good On First Day

 The latest Royal Ascot 2010 tips and betting odds suggest that both Goldikova and Canford Cliffs are good best to win their respective races at Royal Ascot on Tuesday. With the World Cup on at the same time it seems there are not as many Royal Ascot 2010 tips as usual but two of day one's favourites look very solid.
Goldikova And Canford Cliffs Look Solid On Day One
Goldikova has proved one of the best horses in the world over the past few seasons and she is looking for her ninth Group One success in the Queen Anne Stakes and she is a good bet to get it at 13/8 with Stan James and Coral. Paco Boy won the race last year but this looks much stronger, he is joint second favourite at 3/1 with 3/1 with Bet365 and Paddy Power, Rip Van Winkle is the other 3/1 second favourite with Bet365 and Stan James and although the horse could be a star this season, his trainer Aidan O'Brien has already expressed fitness concerns. In the St James Palace Stakes Canford Cliffs is the favourite with a third in the 2000 Guineas followed by a great win in the Irish 2000 Guineas he looks to still be improving and is worth a bet at 7/4 with Bet365 and Paddy Power, his main rival is the horse who beat him in the 200 Guineas, Makfi, the French raider is 11/4 with Bet365 and Ladbrokes to confirm those placings.

Later in the week the Ascot Gold Cup will grab many headlines and with four time winner Yeats now retired it looks wide open with a new staying hero ready to be crowned. Manifest is the favourite at 11/4 with Bet365 but it could be worth going for Age Of Aquarius who comes from the stable stable as Yeats, has been well backed this week and is nicely priced at 9/2 with Bet365 and Paddy Power. Later in the week Music Show could be the one in the Coronation Stakes, she has run well in the 1000 Guineas and the Irish 1000 Guineas and she could finally get her reward at 6/1 with Totesport.
