Wednesday 07 July 2010 at 12:19
The British Grand Prix takes place this weekend and the British Grand Prix Betting Odds make Sebastien Vettel the favourite for victory in Britain although the home support will be behind Lewis Hamilton and he is second favourite in the Silverstone Grand Prix 2010 Betting Odds.
Silverstone Betting Odds
The current favourite in the British Grand Prix Betting Odds is Sebastien Vettel, who has been in great form this season and is rated at 9/4 with Ladbrokes, Boylesports and VC Bet to be standing number one on the podium on Sunday. There are two Brits hoping to stop Vettel though, Lewis Hamilton seems most likely as he is 3/1 with VC Bet and William Hill to win the British Grand Prix, well ahead of his team mate Jenson Button who is 8/1 with VC Bet and Boylesports. Michael Schumacher is given very little chance on his return to Silverstone, he is 66/1 with Paddy Power.
Latest Drivers Championship Odds
Lewis Hamilton currently has the edge over Sebastien Vettel in the F1 Drivers Championship race as he is the current favourite, available to back at 7/4 with Sportingbet and as short as 11/8 with many bookies. Vettel is next best at 5/2 with Bet365 and Ladbrokes and then there is a gap back to third favouritism where Fernando Alonso and Jenson Benton are battling it out. Alonso is slightly shorter at 15/2 with Boylesports whilst Button is 8/1 with Sportingbet.
