 Paddy Power are offering odds on who will play Doctor Who in the Doctor Who Movie which has been talked about and it seems Johnny Depp could get the nod over current Doctor Who Matt Smith.

It is thought fans haven't really taken to Matt Smith as Doctor Who but the fact that he still has the role means that he has to be amongst the favourites, he is currently 9/4 second favourite with Paddy Power to land the film role. He is currently playing second fiddle to Johnny Depp, who excels in eccentric roles, he is available at 2/1 with Paddy Power to play the Doctor in the movie version of the popular tv show. If director Tim Burton was to take control of the movie then it would be almost certain Depp would get the job having previously worked with the director in iconic rolls such as Willy Wonka, Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissor hands and the Mad Hatter.
