King George 2010 Tips And Betting Odds Make Harbinger A Better Bet Than Workforce
Thursday 22 July 2010 at 13:27
The King George 2010 Betting Odds have undergone slight changes after the final decs for the King George 2010 and the best of the King George 2010 Tips may be Harbinger rather than his more fancied stablemate Workforce who is the favourite in the King George 2010 Betting Odds.
Workforce May Play Second Fiddle To Harbinger
Workforce, currently available at even money with Bet365, SkyBet and Ladbrokes to win the King George 2010 at Ascot on Saturday, does admittedly look the most likely winner of the race based on his win in the Epsom Derby and also the fact he receives weight from his elders. However horse racing betting tips need to consider value just as much as the most likely winner and Workforce's stablemate Harbinger looks to be the value bet. Harbinger looked as though he would be a star last season but his season ended somewhat tamely. This season he has won all three starts and his latest success has worked out particularly well, Harbinger is probably the most likely horse in the field to give his running and should be backed at 11/4 with Totesport.
Cape Blanco Has Already Beaten The Favourite
Cape Blanco, who beat Workforce in the Dante Stakes before winning the Irish Derby is perhaps overpriced at 13/2 with William Hill and Totesport but he may have been flattered in beating Workforce on that occasion and may struggle to confirm that form. The forgotten horse of the race may be Youmzain, he was second to Sea The Stars in the Arc last season and if there was a bit of rain in the lead up to the race the 14/1 on offer with Bet365, SkyBet and Paddy Power would look very tempting. Dar Re Mi didn't run well in the Eclipse but that was over a distance too short and was probably a prep for this race so she shouldn't be 16/1 with Bet365 and Stan James whilst the field is completed by French raider Daryakana who is 16/1 with Blue Square and Confront who is likely to be used as a pacemaker therefore is 250/1 with VC Bet.
