Miss Universe Betting Odds Have Miss Phillipines As Controversial Favourite
Tuesday 10 August 2010 at 12:46
Miss Philippines is the favourite for the Miss Universe pageant 2010. Venus Raj was chosen to represent the Philippines but was dethroned after controversy over her birth certificate and eligibility for Miss Universe. A facebook and online campaign resulted in her being reinstated and she will represent her country at the Miss Universe pageant at current odds of 5/1 with Boylesports.
Miss Universe 2010 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 23rd August with all the countries contestants vying to succeed Stefanie Fernandez who as Miss Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe last year.
Joint second favourites in the Miss Universe betting are from the same part of the world. Miss Haiti and Miss Mexico are both on offer at 8/1 with Boylesports. Mexico always seem to have a stunning beauty representing the country and Jimena Navarrete is another in a long line of beautiful girls from the South American country.
Miss Haiti is Sarodj Bertin and she is expected to receive a lot of support. Haiti have not competed in the Miss Universe contest for many years. The country is rebuilding itself after the devastating earthquake that took place in January and there would be no more fitting winner than Miss Haiti at 8/1 with Boylesports.
Miss Universe betting is hotting up with all the countries quoted by Boylesports below. To take advantage of the Boylesports bet £20 get £40 sign up offer click here.
