X Factor 2010 Betting Odds Still Make Gamu Nhengu Favourite After Week Two
Monday 30 August 2010 at 10:53
The latest X Factor 2010 Betting Odds still have Gamu Nhengu as the most likely X Factor winner after the second week of X Factor auditions. Despite the overall quality looking better in the week two, the bookies still think the stand out act in week one was better than the stand out act in week two.
Gamu Nhengu Still Rated Better Than Mary Byrne
Gamu Nhengu put in a fair performance on X Factor week one but it didn't really look the standard normally associated with the winner so it is no surprise that she is available at 8/1 with Bet365 and Paddy Power. Mary Byrne made a big impression on Saturday and she is rated the best of the rest by most bookies, a couple even make her the favourite to win. Paddy Power were most impressed offering just 6/1 but Boylesports don't think she looks the winner, they offer 14/1 at the moment, more than twice the odds Paddy Power offer.
The Reason And Annastasia Baker Look Overpriced
Perhaps the standout bet at the moment should be The Reason. Very few groups make the grade on X Factor but as many groups will make the live finals as under 24 boys so with The Reason looking by far the best so far, it is likely they will reach the live finals, and if they do they will be much shorter than the 16/1 currently available with SkyBet and Betfred. Annastasia Baker returned having just missed out on the live shows two years ago, as we already know she can reach that far she is probably overpriced at 20/1 with SkyBet and Paddy Power. Don't forget that Alexandra Burke returned having gone out at the same stage on a previous X Factor and she went on to win at her second attempt.
