The British Flat Jockeys Championship Betting Odds Suggest That Paul Hanagan Is Virtually Unbeatable
Monday 06 September 2010 at 13:25
Paul Hanagan drove El Viento to victory at York yesterday and in doing so recorded his one-hundred and forty-second victory of the British Flat Season. That victory puts him at least twenty victories ahead of his nearest challenger.
Hanagan Looks Assured Of First British Flat Jockeys Championship
Paul Hanagan is now twenty victories ahead of Richard Hughes and thirty-nine victories ahead of Ryan Moore but Hanagan is taking nothing for granted and intends to give the title challenge his all until the end of the season.
Hanagan has stated that he feels fatigue could be the biggest hurdle to him winning the title so perhaps his rivals should not give up just yet.
Bookmakers Skybet and Paddy Power make Hanagan a 1/6 chance to win the British Flat Jockeys Championship with Paddy Power making Richard Hughes a 9/2 shot and Skybet giving Ryan Moore odds of 12/1 of winning his third Flat Jockeys Championship.
