Wladimir Klitschko V Samuel Peter Betting Odds News And Tips For Saturdays Big Fight Night
Friday 10 September 2010 at 12:51
Bookmakers seem to be expecting an easy night for three-belt heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko in Frankfurt but his previous meeting with Saturday's opponent Samuel Peter was far from convincing.
Peter Should Be Back To Fighting Weight For Second Klitschko Clash
Sam Peter has been dismissed by the bookmakers with the layers making Wladimir Klitschko a best priced 1/9 with Ladbrokes. Peter is a 13/2 shot with Bet365 despite the fact that the first time these two fighters met he had the Champion on the canvas three times. Klitschko managed to claw back to do enough to gain a decision that night but Peter still looks to have been underestimated by the bookies. The draw is rated a 50/1 chance with bookmakers Boylesports.
Bookmakers may be taking too much notice of Peter's recent performances when ballooning in weight but a recent change of management and a new training regime has seen the former WBC Champion Peter back to his true fighting weight and keen to avenge the previous Klitschko defeat.
Saturday Night Fight Night Also Features Molitor v Booth
IBF Super-Bantamweight Champion Steve Moilitor takes on Nottingham's Jason Booth for the title in Sunderland live on Sky on Saturday and the skilful Booth should prove a decent match for the only once beaten Molitor.
Bookmakers Skybet have installed Molitor at a best-priced 4/11 to retain the title and with a reach and weight advantage on his side he looks likely to be too good for the recovering alcoholic Booth. Jason Booth has worked hard to get his shot at the title and is unbeaten in last eight fights. Bet365 and Paddy Power make Booth an 11/4 to become the new champion with the draw rated a 33/1 shot also with Paddy Power.
