Longchamp Prix De LArc De Troimphe Betting Odds As Workforce Wobbles

 The Prix De Larc De Troimphe betting odds were shaken up as concern grew that the winner of the Investec Derby Workforce may miss the race. The 3 year old trained by Sir Michael Stoute has drifted on Betfair to 8.0 and on Paddy Power to 7/1.
Workforce was a brilliant winner of the Derby but then flopped in his next race. Many punters were confident that the Arc would see him return to his imperious best but it seems that bookies with their Newmarket connections are predicting that the horse will not travel to Longchamp.
We have seen this before though when rumours abound as to whether particular horses will run, most recently with New Approach who drifted to a huge price on Betfair when expected not to run in the 2008 Derby, New Approach won at odds of 5/1.
Soft going is expected at Longchamp on Sunday after forecasters predicted heavy rain in the French capital. Current favourites for the richest race in Europe are Behkabad at 7/2 with Bet 365 and Ladbrokes and Fame And Glory at 5/1 with Coral and SkyBet.
