Steve Clarke Next Hibs Manager Odds Now Make Him Long Odds On To Beat Michael O Neill To Job
Wednesday 13 October 2010 at 09:52
The latest Next Hibs Manager Odds mean Steve Clarke should be appointed soon as the Next Hibernian Manager with Michael O'Neill the only threat to him. Steve Clarke only became favourite in the Next Hibs Odds last week but it certainly looks as though he is going to get his chance managing very soon.
Steve Clarke Looks To Have Won Battle With Michael O'Neill
Steve Clarke has always been a highly rated number two and was often spoke about as a future manager. After spells at Chelsea and West Ham it looks as though he is finally going to get his chance in the spotlight as he is now just 1/3 with William Hill to be appointed the Next Hibs Manager. If talks were to break down then there is a clear back up choice, Shamrock Rovers manager Michael O'Neill has been strongly linked with the Hibs post recently and looks to be second choice. He was the favourite just over a week ago but is now the clear second favourite and O'Neill can be backed at 7/2 with William Hill.
Many Managers Given Same Odds To Take Over At Hibs
William Hill can't decide between three managers for the position of second favourite so it goes to all of them. Billy Stark, Paul Hart and Uwe Rapolder are all rated at 6/1 with William Hill and look to be back ups to the back up, they are well ahead of sixth best choice Jimmy Calderwood who is now a 12/1 shot with William Hill. Other managers who appear to still be slightly in the frame for the Next Hibernian Manager position include Pat Fenlon who is 14/1 with William Hill and perhaps still Gus McPherson, Gareth Evans, John McGlynn and Bobby Williamson who are four of the thirteen managers rated at 20/1 by William Hill.
