Next England Manager Odds Make Harry Redknapp Hot Favourite As Capello Disappoints Again
Wednesday 13 October 2010 at 10:25
There has been plenty of interest in the Next England Manager Odds so far today after England's disappointing result at home to Montenegro. It is beginning to look increasingly likely that Capello could leave before Euro 2012 and according to the Next England Manager Betting Odds suggest Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is in pole position to succeed Fabio Capello.
Redknapp Well Backed Favourite Ahead Of Hodgson
In the past couple of months Harry Redknapp has been very well backed to become the Next England Manager and he is now the clear favourite to succeed Fabio Capello, be it before Euro 2012 or after, and he can currently be backed at best odds of 2/1 with William Hill, Victor Chandler are offering just 5/4. Punters are clearly cottoning on to the positive noises Redknapp has made about not being able to turn the job down. Roy Hodgson was well fancied for the job at the end of the World Cup but Liverpool's poor start to the season may have damaged his chances, he is now out to 7/1 with Victor Chandler.
FA Claim New Manager Will Be English But Mourinho Will Be Tempting
Stuart Pearce has been quite well backed in the Next England Manager Odds since the World Cup, the England Under 21 manager was available at 12/1 straight after the World Cup but he is now 8/1 with Victor Chandler and just 5/1 with William Hill. Pearce recently said he wasn't ready to become England manager so he may be a better bet if Capello does last until after Euro 2012. Other managers expected to be in the frame include Martin O'Neill and Sam Allardyce, both are 10/1 with Victor Chandler whilst Jose Mourinho's name is sure to come up despite the FA's insistence than the Next England Manager will be English, Mourinho is 25/1 with VC Bet.
