Next Wales Manager Odds Make Ian Rush Favourite As Brian Flynn Loses Twice
Wednesday 13 October 2010 at 11:10
The latest Next Wales Manager Betting Odds make Ian Rush the new favourite after Brian Flynn appeared to fluff his chances with two losses in the past week. The players have all been very complimentary of Flynn this week and that might just save his job, he is still in with a good chance according to the Next Wales Manager Odds.
Ian Rush Moves Above Brian Flynn In Pecking Order
Brian Flynn was once an odds on favourite for the Wales job and was given his chance to shine this week. Wales failed to shine though, they were beaten 1-0 at home to Bulgaria and then 4-1 away at Switzerland. The Welsh FA may take a kind view as Wales didn't appear to play that badly in the games, either way Flynn can be backed at a best price of 11/8 with Ladbrokes to become the Next Wales Manager. Ian Rush has become the new favourite with many, he is down to 5/6 with William Hill to land the job but you can still get best odds of 11/8 with Ladbrokes.
Chris Coleman Could End Up The Best Choice
It seems the only other manager still being considered for the Wales job is another who is out of work, that is former Fulham and Coventry manager Chris Coleman. Coleman certainly did a decent job at Fulham and would be a pretty safe choice to become the Next Wales Manager, he makes quite a bit of appeal at 9/2 with William Hill as he is a young manager who could put his stamp on the Wales team. The next name in the betting is a bit of a surprise choice, Terry Venables could now be a contender at 8/1 with William Hill, after him there is a long gap back to Kenny Jackett who is 20/1 with both Ladbrokes and William Hill.
