Strictly Come Dancing Odds Getting Close As Scott Maslen And Pamela Stephenson Impress
Monday 18 October 2010 at 16:33
In the first couple of weeks the betting for Strictly Come Dancing looked as if it might revolve around Matt Baker and Kara Tointon but this week's show has seen some major changes with great performances from Scott Maslen and Pamela Stephenson.
Scott Maslen And Pamela Stephenson Impress The Judges
Actor Scott Maslen continues to improve his dancing skills on Strictly Come Dancing and the bookies are recognising this fact and have cut the former Eastenders star into second favourite at a best-priced 7/2 with Bet 365 and Skybet.
Pamela Stephenson also proved that her good start has not just been a flash in the pan and she topped the judges scores for the fourth week running. The comedian turned psychologist is now into 11/2 with Victor Chandler and Stan James.
Matt Baker and Kara Tointon Need To Keep Improving
Matt Baker is just about holding on to favouritism to win Strictly Come Dancing but the competition is hotting up. The Countryfile presenter has recorded the same score each week and will need to start upping his game if he is to prove favourite backers right. Baker is now available at 9/4 with Boylesports, Paddy Power and Ladbrokes.
Big things were expected of Kara Tointon as she had already won the Comic Relief version of Strictly Come Dancing but rumours of a romance with her dance partner may be holding her back. The former Eastenders actress is still recording good scores but seems to be failing to wow the judges. Kara is 5/1 with Sportingbet to win this series of Strictly Come Dancing.
