Scott Maslen Could Soon Be Favourite For Strictly Come Dancing

 Eastenders actor Scott Maslen has been the steady mover up the betting odds for Strictly Come Dancing and now finds himself second favourite behind Matt Baker. That could all change this weekend with Maslen due to dance the crowd pleasing Tango and Bake due to try the difficult Charleston.
Maslen Can Tango To The Top Of The Charts
Scott Maslen looks to have drawn a distinct advantage this week with dancing the Tango. His partner Natalie Lowe recorded the highest score of the series for this dance last year with Ricky Whittle and given Maslen's popularity with the ladies the sexy tango is sure to go down well. Scott Maslen is currently a 10/2 chance with Bet 365 and Skybet to win the competition and his supporters are advised to take that price as he could well be shorter after Saturday's show.
Maslen fans should also be aware of the 7/2 offered by Ladbrokes that he scores the top score on Saturday as that looks a very tasty price.
Maslen's main rivals Matt Baker and Kara Tointon have both drawn the difficult Charleston and a number of the professionals have had problems with this dance in this past let alone the celebrities and Baker and Tointon look likely to have a difficult evening.
Matt Baker is currently a 9/4 chance with Paddy Power and Coral and Kara Tointon is a 5/1 shot with Sportingbet.
Pamela Stephenson is proving the surprise package on SCD after being available at odds of as big as 66/1 the comedian turned psychologist is now down to a best of 11/2 with Victor Chandler and after top-scoring every week so far its easy to see why. Stepehenson is also due to perform the Tango this week and although the lady is obviously very fit celebs of fifty plus usually struggle to keep up the hectic pace of Strictly Come Dancing training and she may just fall short of top place this week.
Also, dancing the tango this week is Ann Widdecombe and her performance of that dance is sure to raise some laughs and eyebrows. Widdecombe is quoted at a best of 40/1 now after 100/1+ quotes at the start of the season as bookmakers become wary of her popularity.
