Flat Jockeys Championship Odds Give Hanagan The Edge As He Moves Five Clear Of Hughes
Monday 01 November 2010 at 16:58
Paul Hanagan went five clear in the race for the Flat Jockeys Championship at Wolverhampton on Monday prompting bookies to cut his Flat Jockeys Championship Odds.
Double Gives Hanagan Breathing Space Again
The bookies have been cutting the odds on Richard Hughes winning the Flat Jockeys Championship title recently as he continued to cut the extensive lead that was set by Paul Hanagan over the summer. Monday afternoon was a good one for Paul Hanagan as he stretched his lead to five with wins with a double on Insolenceofoffice and Blue Moon. Paul Hanagan can now be backed at 1/5 with Victor Chandler and is 1/7 with most other bookies whilst Richard Hughes is a 4/1 chance with SkyBet, Stan James and William Hill.
Moore and Fallon Look Likely Winners Next Season
Paul Hanagan is also fancied to beat Richard Hughes next year in the 2011 Flat Jockeys Championship but neither jockeys are favourite for the title. Ryan Moore, who missed plenty of this season with an injury, is expected to win the title if he can stay fit, Moore can be backed at evens with Ladbrokes and is odds on with most bookies. Kieron Fallon has been riding well this season and he should be even better next season as he is probably still getting used to being back in the saddle so often, Fallon is a 4/1 chance with Bet365 and also on 4/1 with Bet365, who offer up to £200 in free bets to new customers, is Paul Hanagan, who is sure to be thereabouts next season but he may just miss out. This year's second favourite Richard Hughes is available at 8/1 with Stan James and Victor Chandler. For more Flat Jockeys Championship Odds click on any of the bookie links above.
