The Turner Prize A Two Artist Betting Race With Susan Phillipz Odds On

 The Turner Prize awarded to new artists with an aim to celebrate younger talent and to focus attention on new developments in the visual arts has a shortlist of four in 2010. Favourite and strongly fancied to win is Susan Phillipz at 4/9 with Victor Chandler and 1.58 with Betfair. Philipsz who is based in Germany uses her own voice to create uniquely evocative sound installations.
Second favourite and main rival to Phillipz is Dexter Dalwood at 7/2 with Victor Chandler and 4.7 with Betfair. Dalwood who use to be a member of the punk band the Cortinas is best known for the "Death Of David Kelly 2008 art work and would be a controversial winner as his work is loved by many and loathed by certain critics.The other two artists who are in the betting but look to be out of the running according to the prices on offer are Angela De La Cruz at 7/1 with Victor Chandler and The Otolith Group at 7.0 with Betfair and 8/1 with Victor Chandler.
