There is another cold snap on the way and weather forecasters are now saying that a White Christmas for much of the country seems likely, the bookies' odds on a White Christmas 2010 have continued to shorten over the past week or two.

When the snow hits much of the country on Thursday night and Friday morning those odds are likely to shorten yet again.
