Cheltenham Festival 2011 Odds And Tips Suggest Last Years Winners Should Be Supported
Wednesday 09 March 2011 at 10:22
The Cheltenham Festival 2011 gets underway next week and the Cheltenham Festival Odds and Tips are already proving very popular, in the four Champion races three of the favourites are last year's winners.
Previous Winners Dominate The Gold Cup Betting
The highlight of the Cheltenham Festival is often the Cheltenham Gold Cup and three previous winners make up four of the favourites in the Cheltenham Gold Cup 2011 Betting Odds, last year's winner Imperial Commander is the favourite at 7/2 with Blue Square, the other two previous winners are the very classy Kauto Star at 13/2 with Coral and also Denman at 7/1 with Boylesports. It could be worth going with the best of the younger generation though and this year that looks to be Long Run who is as big as 6/1 with Boylesports.
Decent Odds On Main Cheltenham Races
The highlight of day one should be the Champion Hurdle, last year's winner Binocular looks good for that race and is a relatively big price thanks to the inclusion of Hurricane Fly in the race Binocular is 10/3 with Stan James ahead of Hurricane Fly who is 5/1 with William Hill. On Wednesday the Champion Chase takes centre stage and last year's winner Big Zeb, who is 3/1 with Stan James, could be outclassed by two time winner Master Minded who is 11/4 with Coral. Then on Thursday Big Bucks looks to make it three World Hurdle wins in a row and having won twice easily already he looks decent odds still at 11/8 with William Hill.
