Cheltenham Festival Tips For Thursday And Friday
Thursday 17 March 2011 at 10:01
We are at the half way point in the Cheltenham Festival 2011 and even if it hasn't been a good Festival for your pocket so far there is still plenty of time to take advantage of some Cheltenham Festival Tips and make it a painful last two days for the bookies.
Cheltenham Tips For Thursday
The highlight of Thursday's card is the World Hurdle and Big Bucks will be bidding to make it three in a row in the race. Big Bucks is the favourite and a few bookies are sticking their necks out by offering 5/4 and he looks to have everything in his favour, these horses can't keep winning forever but Big Bucks is a truly exceptional horse. He has strong competition from Grands Crus this year but the Cleeve Hurdle winner may not be quite good enough to topple Big Bucks. In the Ryanair Chase there are a few question marks over the market leaders, it could be worth taking a chance on Kalahari King who will surely get his head in front if staying this longer trip, he is interesting at around 5/1.
Cheltenham Tips For Friday
On Friday we have the Cheltenham Gold Cup as our feature, Kauto Star and Denman are probably too old to win it now and it could lie between favourites Imperial Commander and Long Run. Given Long Run's relatively poor record at Cheltenham we have to go for Imperial Commander at around 7/2. Another strong bet on the final day of the Festival comes in the Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle. The form of Bobs Worth's last win was boosted on Wednesday and he looks very solid at around the 4/1 mark. For more Cheltenham Festival Tips click the highlighted link.
