Cheltenham Gold Cup Bets At Big Odds For Kempes And Midnight Chase Popular This Morning
Friday 18 March 2011 at 09:07
The Cheltenham Gold Cup 2011 is now just hours away and the most popular bets this morning have perhaps been Kempes and Midnight Chase. Both will enjoy the conditions after the worst of the weather stayed away from Cheltenham.
Kempes And Midnight Chase Get Each Way Support
Kempes had been considered just a lively outsider but a great last run and question marks over many of the favourites have seen him become one of those favourites, he is now the fifth favourite in the Cheltenham Gold Cup Odds and come the start of the race it would be no surprise if he was third or fourth favourite, his current odds of around 10/1 could be well worth snapping up. Another horse who could give a return to each way punters is Midnight Chase. He has been dominating competitive handicaps from the front all season at this course and he will take no prisoners here from the front, expect a good run for your money if backing Midnight Chase at around 16/1.
Imperial Commander And Long Run Battling It Out For Favouritism
It looks as though either Imperial Commander or Long Run will go off as favourite, the pair have been disputing favouritism today and it depends if punters go for proven Cheltenham form or outstanding promise. Imperial Commander won the race last year and has a record of five wins from six runs over fences here whilst Long Run has proved himself a top class horse this season by winning the King George VI Chase but he still has to prove himself at Cheltenham. Both horses are around the 9/2 mark at the moment. For the odds on previous winners Kauto Star and Denman or to place your bets on the Cheltenham Gold Cup, click on the bookie links below.
