Next West Ham Manager Odds See Small Support For Warnock And McLeish
Thursday 19 May 2011 at 10:14
There have already been a few rollercoasters in the Next West Ham Manager Odds and more managers are being backed for the job, this time it is Neil Warnock and Alex McLeish, two managers who are likely to be managing in the Premiership next season.
Warnock And McLeish Backed To Replace Grant
Neil Warnock and Alex McLeish are two managers who have done well in the Championship before and have a proven record so it is no surprise that West Ham would target them as potential replacements for Avram Grant but Neil Warnock will be managing QPR in the Premiership next season whilst Alex McLeish’s Birmingham still have a very good chance of staying up (Blackpool need to better their result at Old Trafford to send them down) so whether either manager would leave their currently club remains open to question, that hasn’t stopped punters backing both with several bookies though, Warnock is now best odds of 10/1 with William Hill whilst McLeish is as short as 8/1 but Paddy Power offer 12/1.
Chris Hughton Still Favourite But Why The Delay
The hot favourite in the Next West Ham Manager Odds is still Chris Hughton, it looks as though he is the number one choice for David Gold and David Sullivan but it seems to be taking longer than expected if that is the case. That is perhaps why he has eased a little in the betting over the past 24 hours, he is still clear favourite though at 15/8 with Bet365, William Hill remain the shortest at 6/5. Dave Jones has also been very popular recently with speculation continuing over his future at Cardiff but the money has dried up for him, he has drifted back out to 10/1 with SkyBet, Betfred remain wary of him though as they offer just 7/2.
