Next Fulham Manager Odds Make Martin O Neill And Martin Jol Favourites
Friday 03 June 2011 at 10:12
After Mark Hughes’ departure as Fulham boss on Thursday evening it was Martin O’Neill who was immediately made favourite in the Next Fulham Manager Odds and the former Aston Villa boss has been well backed to take over at Craven Cottage but he could face stiff competition from former Spurs manager Martin Jol.
O’Neill Looks A Likely Choice For Craven Cottage Job
Fulham have gone for solid managerial choices in recent years and they have been rewarded for doing so, both Roy Hodgson and Mark Hughes did good jobs at Craven Cottage and it would be no surprise if Martin O’Neill is first choice for Fulham considering he too has a good record of getting the best out of his players. O’Neill has already been well backed and is 11/4 with Paddy Power, he rates a good bet currently to replace Mark Hughes.
Martin Jol One Of The Favourites To Replace Hughes
The next best choice in the Next Fulham Manager Odds at the moment is Martin Jol who is another quite solid choice having had plenty of Premiership experience with Spurs but he would be more risky than O’Neill, it certainly looks as though he is being considered as he can be backed at just 4/1 with Victor Chandler and William Hill. The next best choice at the moment seems to be Steve McClaren, he is also a contender in the Next Aston Villa Manager Odds but this job seems more likely, the former England boss can be backed at 9/1 with Paddy Power.
