X Factor 2011 Odds Have Gary Barlow Favourite To Be Winning Judge
Tuesday 07 June 2011 at 10:50
You can now bet on X Factor 2011 Odds with bookies currently taking bets on which of the newly assembled X Factor judging panel will be the winning mentor. The new X Factor judges that will be joining the only previous regular Louis Walsh are Take That’s Gary Barlow, Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland and also the only female member of N Dubz, Tulisa Contostavlos.
Louis Walsh May Have Experience Advantage Over Newcomers
The bookies reckon that the popular Gary Barlow will start his X Factor judging career with a bang as he is the 9/4 favourite with William Hill and Coral to mentor the winner this year on the way to a Christmas Number One single. Gary Barlow has had success as a writer and producer for other artists as well as Take That and he looks a great choice as a judge and a decent bet to be the winning mentor as he is sure to have his acts singing the right songs. The second favourite to be the winning mentor is Louis Walsh, who has always been the outsider in previous years but perhaps the bookies think his experience will give him an edge over the newer judges, Walsh is currently 13/5 with Bet365 who offer up to £200 in free bets to new customers.
Kelly Rowland Thought To Be Least Likely Winning Mentor
It looks as though it will be close between new female judges Kelly Rowland and Tulisa from the N Dubz, it is easy to see why producers picked the pair, Kelly Rowland will give an American point of view this year (much like Nicole Scherzinger did in the auditions last year when she stepped in for Cheryl Cole) whilst Tulisa will be very popular with teenage viewers. The bookies think Tulisa just about has the edge, she is 11/4 with William Hill whilst Kelly Rowland is 3/1 with Coral. It will be interesting to see the chemistry between the new judges and William Hill think there could be changes again the following year, they offer 6/1 that the judging panel is the same again in 2012, assuming that Simon Cowell will probably return but he is likely to be doing X Factor USA again so that 6/1 with William Hill could be worth taking.
