Andre Villas Boas Next Chelsea Manager Odds See Major Gamble
Monday 20 June 2011 at 11:04
There has been a major gamble on Andre Villas-Boas becoming the Next Chelsea Manager after press reports suggested that Chelsea have paid a £13m release fee for the Portuguese manager who has been dubbed ‘the next Mourinho’.
Villas-Boas Set To Join Chelsea
Guus Hiddink had been the odds on favourite in the Next Chelsea Manager Odds for weeks but now it seems Andre Villas-Boas, who was the first favourite in the Next Chelsea Manager Odds after Carlo Ancelotti was sacked on the final day of the season, is in line to get the job. In the past few hours reports have begun to circulate that his contract has been bought out by Roman Abramovich and he will become the Next Chelsea Manager, he is now just 2/5 with Stan James.
Hiddink Odds Massively On The Drift
Villas-Boas has been dubbed the new Mourinho because he has worked under the current Real Madrid manager in the past, he has gained success at a very young age and plenty of that success has come in Europe with Porto, just like Mourinho. Roman Abramovich eventually fell out with Mourinho so whether or not things work out better for Villas-Boas remains to be seen but it looks as though the job is his, Guus Hiddink is out to 4/1 with Stan James.
