Coral Eclipse 2011 Odds And Tips See Huge Gamble On So You Think
Wednesday 29 June 2011 at 10:23
The Coral Eclipse is often one of the most exciting races in the flat calendar as it provides the first chance for older group one horses to meet the classic generation. The Coral Eclipse 2011 is shaping up to be a great race with So You Think and Workforce set to meet at Sandown on Saturday and the latest Coral Eclipse 2011 Odds And Tips certainly favour So You Think currently.
So You Think Gets The Nod Over Workforce
Last week both So You Think and Workforce were around the 6/4 mark and if anything Workforce was favoured by the bookies but it seems people are worrying about the form of Sir Michael Stoute and with no worries about the form of Aidan O’Brien it is So You Think who has attracted all the money, the ex Aussie trained runner is just 4/5 with most bookies to win his first group one in England whilst Workforce has been pushed out as big as 2/1. Workforce is surely better over an extra two furlongs, as we saw in the Arc last year, and that should give the advantage to the favourite.
Snow Fairy The Only Runner Not Trained By Stoute Or O’Brien
With Aidan O’Brien and Sir Michael Stoute saddling seven of the current eight entries it looks very much a two horse race, the only horse who could perhaps upset the odds is maybe the filly Snow Fairy, who is very talented on her day and has been re routed here after the ground got too soft in Ireland last week. Snow Fairy will appeal to many as an each way bet at 8/1 but do check the each way terms with the bookies as only a couple are currently offering three places as they expected seven or fewer runners to make the final line up. If running on his merits Cape Blanco would be capable of winning a race like this on his best form so it is perhaps surprising to see the Aidan O’Brien runner at 20/1 but he is likely to be used to help set the race up for the stable number one So You Think.
