Liverpool The Early Value In Premiership Odds According To Tipsters
Thursday 14 July 2011 at 10:34
PremiershipThe new Premiership season is only a month away now and many punters are starting to get their bets on and it seems that the early value in the Premiership Odds could be with Liverpool, who only finished 6th last season.

Man Utd Most Tipped But Liverpool Look Value

Man Utd are the favourites in the Premiership odds after securing their 19th league title last season and they are also the most tipped team currently in the OLBG Tipster Competition, Man Utd have attracted 48.6% of tips currently which is no huge surprise given they have already been strengthening their squad with the likes of David De Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young, at 15/8 with Paddy Power there is no doubt they are going to be popular again this season. However, according to the OLBG Tipsters there could be better value with Liverpool who are the second most tipped team, attracting 23% of tips currently. A league table last season from when Kenny Dalglish took over would have had Liverpool top and this summer they have already bought Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and that pair could soon be joined by Stewart Downing. At 11/1 with Blue Square and Coral Liverpool could cost the bookies a small fortune if they can win their first Premiership title.

Not Much Between Chelsea And Man City Again

It seems punters think there won’t be much between Chelsea and Man City this season, who gained the same amount of points as each other last season. Chelsea are slight favourites out of the two and have attracted slightly more tips, they have received 12.2% of the vote currently whilst Man City are being backed by 10.8% of tipsters. Chelsea are available at 11/4 with Coral to win the Premiership this coming season whilst Man City are slightly bigger at 4/1 with Coral. Arsenal have attracted just 4.1% of tips and that means OLBG Tipsters think they will finish 5th this season and miss out on Champions League qualification, the bookies still make them fourth best though at 9/1 with Victor Chandler. Spurs have finished 4th and 5th in the last two seasons but the bookies and OLBG Tipsters both agree they are sixth best this season, just 1.4% of tipsters have gone for Spurs to win the league and the bookies are offering a huge 50/1, those odds are available with Bet365 and SkyBet amongst others.
