No Tips For Man City In The Early Champions League Odds

Barcelona Fancied Again But Man City Are Friendless
Man City are 16/1 fifth favourites in the Champions League Odds with Boylesports but so far the tipsters on OLBG are avoiding Roberto Mancini’s men, despite the fact that their third place finish last season guarantees them a place in the group stage. It looks as though people think that Man City’s lack of experience in the Champions League as a team (many individuals have experience from time with other sides) will cost them the chance of winning the Champions League this season. The most tipped team currently is unsurprisingly Barcelona who have attracted over 38% of the tips currently. They won the Champions League for the third time in six years in May and are 11/5 with Coral to retain the trophy, those tipping Barcelona clearly are worried that no side has ever retained the Champions League trophy.
Man Utd’s Record In The Competition Must Be Respected
The OLBG Tipsters haven’t been able to separate the well fancied teams Real Madrid, Man Utd and Chelsea, despite the fact that Real Madrid are much more fancied by the bookies. Jose Mourinho sides always command plenty of respect in the Champions League and they were only beaten in the semi final by eventual winners Barcelona last season. Real Madrid can be backed at 11/2 with Coral ahead of Man Utd and Chelsea who are both 9/1 with Victor Chandler, all three teams have so far attracted 9.5% of the tips on OLBG. Man Utd could prove the best of that trio as their achievement of reaching three of the last four Champions League Finals (which is even more than Barcelona) seems to have gone a little unnoticed.
