Bookies Predict Cahill To Tottenham And Crouch To QPR On Transfer Deadline Day

 The signings are beginning to go through on what looks as though it could be the busiest transfer deadline day ever in terms of volume of players and amongst the busiest managers could be Neil Warnock, Harry Redknapp and Tony Pulis, who the bookies think will be the most active managers today.
Cahill And Crouch Very Likely To Be On The Move
Tottenham are now very much expected to sign Bolton defender Gary Cahill, just two days ago Arsenal were 2/5 favourites with the bookies to sign Cahill this week but Spurs are now hot favourites at 8/11 with Paddy Power whilst Bolton are 6/4 to keep hold of their prized asset. That deal could be funded by the sale of Peter Crouch, at the time of writing Sunderland are favourites with the bookies to sign Crouch at 1/2 with SkyBet but QPR’s odds of signing the striker continue to drop, they are down to 13/8 to be Crouch’s club tomorrow and those odds should continue to fall with that club ticking more boxes (wages, based in London) than Sunderland. Meanwhile it could be a good day for Spurs as they are now just 1/14 with Stan James to keep hold of Luka Modric and there could be a huge signing on its way, they are favourites to sign Kaka but the odds of 5/2 with SkyBet suggest he will be staying at Real Madrid.
Joe Cole Could Be Off To Villa Rather Than Lille
In other interesting developments it looks as though Joe Cole could be off to Aston Villa rather than Lille, a loan move to France was touted yesterday for the out of favour Liverpool midfielder and Lille are still 1/2 with SkyBet to sign Cole but Aston Villa have been cut to 2/1 from 10/1 today to sign Cole and there is often no smoke without fire in these markets. Arsenal have strengthened their defence this week but could still be in for Chris Samba if SkyBet are to be believed, Arsenal are just 4/9 to sign Samba whilst Spurs are also still interested, they are 9/4 with SkyBet to sign Samba today. Betfred have recently cut their odds on QPR making the most signings today, QPR are in to 9/4 from 7/2 whilst Stoke are down to 9/2 with Betfred, with Arsenal and Spurs expected to make the third most signings today, they are both 6/1 with Betfred.
