Cambridgeshire 2011 Tips Make Cry Fury Best Fancied But Dare To Dance Is Favourite
Thursday 22 September 2011 at 12:01
CambridgeshireOne of the most interesting flat handicap of the season takes place on Saturday at Newmarket, the Cambridgeshire 2011 Handicap run over nine furlongs will see 35 runners battle it out and the favourite is currently Dare To Dance but Cry Fury is currently the most popular horse in the OLBG Tipping Competition.

Cry Fury Could End Up Favourite Due To Tipster Popularity

Dare To Dance, the current favourite in the Cambridgeshire 2011 Odds, only just made it into the Cambridgeshire line up, he is right down the bottom of the weights and his recent easy win at Newmarket in a good race suggests he is still very well handicapped, the bookies agree as Dare to Dance is 7/1 with Bet365. Dare To Dance has so far been friendless in the OLBG Tipping Competition though, the tipsters have been much more impressed with fellow three year old Cry Fury who has currently attracted 23.5% of the tips in this competitive handicap, that makes Cry Fury look very good value at 10/1 with Ladbrokes. Cry Fury has been working his way through the handicap ranks whereas the runner with the second most tips is stepping down in class for this race. Questioning has been tipped by over 17% of the tipsters after his second last time out in a listed race, his third to Dominant three runs ago could be his best run this season and he looks a fair each way bet at 9/1 with William Hill for John Gosden who has won the race twice in the last four years.

Tinkertown And Proponent Look Overpriced

Three year olds are proving very popular this year for the Cambridgeshire, Sagramor has won two of the biggest mile handicaps for three year olds this season but hasn’t been seen since finishing lame at Goodwood. The extra furlong should be no problem for him and trainer Hughie Morrison has reported him in good form at home, 18/1 should be too big with William Hill for Sagramor. Man Of Action is sure to be popular on the day as he will be ridden by Frankie Dettori, he won impressively last time out but the slow pace in that race probably played to his strengths and an end to end gallop over an extra furlong probably won’t help him, he could be one to take on at 14/1. A couple of runners who could be overpriced are Proponent who seems to love this nine furlong trip and also Tinkertown who hasn’t been the most consistent horse this season (hence the odds) but he has some top bits of form which would give him a great chance. Proponent is 20/1 with Paddy Power and Tinkertown is 40/1 with Bet365. Click here for more Cambridgeshire 2011 Tips or to place your bets click on any of the bookie links below.
